Artikel.nl is a content platform where users can read and exchange information, opinions, and stories by publishing articles. It can include how-to guides, educational articles, opinion pieces, fiction, and reviews of movies or books. Topics vary. Users can rate each other's articles, post comments, and follow their favorite writers.
Our goal was clearly defined. We wanted to design and develop a "Forum Domain" seamlessly integrated with Artikel.nl. This included implementing role-based authorization for precise access control, real-time interactions to enhance user engagement, a user-friendly interface for a positive user experience, and cross-device compatibility for a seamless user experience.
To achieve these goals, we developed an approach that began with creating a user-friendly front-end. We used React with TypeScript to create a dynamic and responsive interface, allowing writers to easily interact with the forum. Additionally, we implemented a robust user role-based authorization system to effectively manage access rights. Furthermore, we added features for real-time interactions to enable instant notifications and responses. Ensuring compatibility across different devices was a key focus, leading us to prioritize responsive design.
During execution, we worked thoroughly on designing and developing both the front-end and back-end. We utilized Symfony with API Platform to create a powerful API optimizing data processing and interactions. Bugs and issues were addressed, payment gateways were configured, and secure data exchange protocols were established.
The result of our efforts was remarkable. The implementation of the "Forum Domain" led to a significantly improved user experience, expanded access capabilities, and enhanced security. We achieved our objectives within the specified time.
During this project, we gained valuable insights. We noticed that our strategic approach and stakeholder engagement worked well. For the future, we can further enhance our testing and quality assurance processes.

The implementation of role-based authorization, real-time interactions, and a responsive interface now enables writers to connect, learn, and collaborate within a supportive community.
